Round Steel Frame Pool
A round above-ground steel frame pool developed for seasonal retail programs, with customizable dimensions, liner specifications, artwork, accessories and packaging.
Product Category
COMCO manufactures custom steel frame pools for retailers, brands, importers and private-label programs. We produce the PVC liner ourselves — film, printing and high-frequency welding — and integrate the frame components into a complete, retail-ready above-ground pool.

Frame pool construction
An above-ground frame pool holds its shape on an external steel frame rather than on air.
Horizontal rails and vertical legs sit around the pool wall, and the PVC liner is suspended inside them. Because the wall is carried by the frame instead of by air pressure, a frame pool can be built in larger footprints than an inflatable pool of the same carton volume, and the pool body itself is never inflated.
The frame arrives as a component set and is integrated with the liner during production. COMCO makes the liner and the printed pool body in house; the steel components are sourced to the program's specification, then integrated, inspected and packed as one finished pool. The metal specification is confirmed per program and shown in the approved sample.
Liner materials
The liner is the part of a frame pool the end customer actually touches, and it is the part COMCO makes itself. We purchase raw PVC material inputs and produce PVC film in house, then print and high-frequency weld the liner to the specification agreed for the program.
Seams are welded rather than sewn, which is what lets the liner hold water without a separate waterproof layer. The round steel frame model is built around a replaceable liner program, so a replacement liner can be ordered as its own item on the same frame — a service angle for retailers and a reason for end customers to return to the brand.
Production
A frame pool runs COMCO's standard pool production chain. The pool body is never inflated, so the finished liner is inspected against a light source instead of an air-hold test.
01
PVC film is produced in house and prepared for the program's liner specification.
02
Liner panels are cut to the dimensions of the program's pool size.
03
Seams, edges and fittings are finished by hand before assembly and packing.
Frame components are sourced to the program's specification; the liner, printing, welding, inspection and packing in this chain are COMCO's own.
Inspection
Frame pool liners are checked against a light source before packing, and finished goods are sampled before shipment.
Product family
The two models above are reference builds. Pool size and water capacity, liner specification, print and colour, ladder and pump ports, accessories and retail packaging are developed to your program — from a sketch, a reference sample or the product you want to beat. Frame pool production usually runs 45–60 days, 60–90 days in peak season, with MOQ confirmed per project.
Capacity and packaging
Frame pool programs run inside COMCO's own pool production system, from liner production through finished-goods packing.
Frame pool orders are scheduled on the same pool lines as the rest of the range, so liner production, printing, welding and packing stay in one chain rather than being split between suppliers.
Retail packaging is prepared to your program: carton artwork, barcode labelling, inner packing and mixed-carton requirements are agreed with the packaging specification, and the pool ships as a complete set with its frame components.
Buyer FAQ
COMCO produces the PVC liner and the printed pool body in house — film, printing and high-frequency welding — then integrates the frame components, inspects the finished liner and packs the complete pool. The steel components are sourced to the program's specification.
No. The liner and printed pool body are made in house; the steel frame components are sourced, then integrated and packed as one finished pool. The metal specification is agreed per program and shown in the approved sample rather than stated as a fixed catalogue figure.
Yes. Liner size, film specification, colour and print follow your program, and the round steel frame model is built around a replaceable liner program, so a replacement liner can be ordered as its own item on the same frame.
Every applicable liner is inspected against a light source before packing, and finished goods go through a sampling inspection before shipment. Market-specific tests are arranged against your destination market and retail program, with the test list agreed before production.
